The 26th MYT is also significant because that’s when the full album of 17 new songs will be released.
Fans of Rosé can expect her new hit along with other previous ones. In fact, on her social media account it is written that she’s excited to join the others in being part of the film’s soundtrack. Ed Sheeran’s DRIVE is expected to be released in conjunction with the film’s launch. Other artistes and singer-songwriters part of the motion picture soundtrack include Peggy Gou, Madison Beer, and Tiesto.
At present, the public playlist contains a combination of classics and beats of today. So far, a total of 58 songs has been published, in advance of the release of the full album, which you can pre-order. Others include Coldplay’s Viva La Vida, hits by Ed Sheeran, as well as Rihanna’s Shut Up and Drive. More recent releases included in the official soundtrack are Doja’s Paint the Town Red as well as Tate McRae’s Sports Car.
Sources reveal that the new album containing the soundtrack is produced by Ryan Tedder, the frontman, lead vocalist and co-founder of the US-based pop rock band One Republic. Notably, the album samples the epic F1 movie theme linked to Hans Zimmer.
Both Brad Pitt and Lewis Hamilton, well-known in their own arenas, will both produce the film as well as have a starring role. Coming out of retirement, Pitt mentors a rookie for a fictional team. Jerry Bruckheimer will also produce the movie, along with other producers.
Spanish actor Javier Bardem will also be part of the cast of this two-hour film.
The film was made in partnership with Formula One. Joseph Kosinski will assume the dual role of director-producer of the film.
