Falling for (Jeju Island’s) Cheonjiyeon Falls

image

I’ve never been to a waterfall so it was a pleasant surprise when my family and I saw that Cheonjiyeon Falls was included in our itinerary for our trip to South Korea’s Jeju Island – back in early-October 2019.

Perhaps the walk to the waterfall was the most attractive and calming because of what you’ll encounter along the way. Now, please make sure you have a good camera with you.

Oh, the week I went the water volume was more than usual due to the typhoon that occurred the week before.

Cheonjiyeon Falls (=sky connected with the land) is one of the three famous waterfalls on Jeju Island. It is most popular at night because the falls are illuminated.
