Years after the Harry Potter film and book series have ended, Potterheads can expect a return of the Back to Hogwarts showcase on YouTube for audiences worldwide to relive the magic that had been brought to you by JK Rowling and the directors who adapted the books for the silver screen. 1st September is a historic day in the Potter universe because it is the day that Harry Potter makes his way between platforms 9 and 10 at King's Cross Station to open up the significant platform 9 and ¾ to land himself in the magical world of Hogwarts, as an escape from the Muggle World, living with his spiteful and sarcastic the Dursleys. The YouTube channel of Harry Potter will come to life with the premiere of Back to Hogwarts 2024 at 11 am BST or 5:39pm MYT, which is to mark the departure time of the Hogwarts Express. Beautifully lined up, don’t you think? So you might want to dress up in your favourite robes, get your wands ready and prep some Butterbeer – in line with this live event, brought to you from New York. The Back to Hogwarts showcase was first shown on YouTube in 2022. Back to Hogwarts initially began as a fan-made gathering for fans across the globe to celebrate all-things Harry Potter, which includes re-watching the related films. In fact, as announced (on this special day) by a major cinema chain in Malaysia, Malaysian fans can expect the Harry Potter and Philosopher’s Stone movie rerun from the 17th of October 2024, while Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets will be replaying from the 31st of October 2024.
