Now showing on YouTube: Fame the Musical

image

Well, guess what? The Shows Must Go On, the YouTube channel that has previously made available some of the works by the composer Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, returns with Fame the Musical. A number of other musicals were also shown, but they were made available only in certain regions of the world. Although the channel went on hiatus from showing full-length musicals for free (in line with the summer break), selected portions and clips were uploaded and still retained.

The musical is available to watch for 48 hours. So you may watch, replay, pause to your heart’s content until 28 September 2020 2AM MYT.

Fame the Musical set for the stage originally premiered in the 1980s. It is based on the musical film with the same name.

The version chosen for this particular broadcast is the 30th anniversary tour, with a live audience at London’s West End.
