Gamers, let’s unite under One Republic. After all, the US-based alternative rock group has the best gift meant for you. What’s better than a new track for the upcoming Arknights Endfield, the video game set to launch in 2026. This collaboration is made possible and fuelled by the group’s pastime – gaming while on tour.

The free-to-play action role-playing video game will be available to PlayStation 5 owners, as well as smartphone/mobile device users whose device runs on either the iOS or Android operating system. The updated version is a spinoff of the previous 2019 tower defence game, Arknights that is developed by the Chinese developer Hypergryph and published by them in China. Outside the Chinese market, the game is published elsewhere under the name Gryphline.  The game is also said to be available on PC.

The highlight of the game is that it will involve real-time 3D role-playing game with strategic elements. You’ll find a semi-open world action RPG experience elevated with elements of strategic management and base-building. Players control a quartet all at once, with the ability to effortlessly switch between characters during battle. To defeat enemies, different skill combinations and tactical combinations will be used by the player.

Through a semi-real-time system, player combat includes several attack types, which can be further divided.

The story of the game is set on the moon called “Talos-II”.

The music video contains footage from the highly anticipated video game.

The song was first performed at the 2025 Game Awards.

The song was composed and produced by frontman Ryan Tedder, Simon Oscroft, and Brent Kutzle.

The game is slated for global release on 22 January 2026.

One Republic has written and produced with other voices including Adele, Leona Lewis, and Birdy.
