Listen up, fans of My Chemical Romance! The rock band’s concert in Malaysia has been given alternative dates. The band had originally been scheduled to play in Kuala Lumpur, as part of their Southeast Asia tour stop, on 30 April 2026 and 1 May 2026.

Organisers now have revealed the new dates as 19 November 2026 and 20 November 2026. Unless you cannot make it, existing ticket holders can still hold onto their tickets that will remain valid until then. Ticket holders who have to forgo the concert can contact the relevant organiser(s)/ticketing company for any enquiry. Refund details are to be announced soonest. The alternative rock band is slated to perform, as initially stated, at the Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil.

My Chemical Romance last performed in Malaysia in 2007, as part of their The Black Parade Tour at the Stadium Merdeka.

The 2026 Kuala Lumpur shows will go down in history as the band’s concert of the largest capacity within the Southeast Asian region.

Based on what is on the band’s official Instagram page, shows within the region will also be moved all across November 2026.

The band will also be performing in cities and locations including Seoul, Manila and Jakarta - with this new update in mind.

No reason has been given for the postponement.

However, shows elsewhere will go on as announced early on.

Disenchanted much?

Whatever it is, we’ll carry on!
